🎂 Happy birthday ChatGPT!
Today marks exactly one year since the emergence of ChatGPT, and it feels like we've been living with it our whole lives. I can't even imagine how to cope without it now. During the OpenAI conflict, people joked in the comments that it turned out this isn't AI at all, but millions of people in basements answering questions. At that moment, I thought that would probably be the biggest technological disappointment for me.
While we eat virtual cake, let's share the areas, prompts, etc. that you actively use in work and life. I'll start with myself:
1) More and more often I ask ChatGPT for basic knowledge instead of Googling it.
2) Programming without ChatGPT is basically a relic now.
3) Of course, writing emails. I remember when I first arrived in the USA, I understood the huge gap between local Sales and newcomers, especially due to the language barrier. Now that's in the past.
4) Accelerating information consumption (summary).
5) Assistance in moderating communities (via API).
What about you?
P.S.
There are things I understand need to be implemented, but I haven't gotten around to it:
- Automation of non-text actions (like remind me, arrange, send, find out) - doesn't work directly in ChatGPT, so I didn't implement it as a project.
Overall, there's also a bit of disappointment. It seems like ChatGPT should be integrated everywhere, but in reality, I see that it's not present in the main tools.
