Unexpectedly for myself, I won a week-long Intro to Deep Learning course at MIT in Boston. So for the next week, I will be spamming you with various information about Boston, MIT, and Deep Learning.

Two lectures and one lab have already passed - it's truly exciting.

In general, you can feel a certain energy within the walls of such institutions, and of course, I reminisced about my student days at Bauman.

So far, the feeling is this: on one hand, they are teaching quite basic things that are available online (as this course will also be available at http://introtodeeplearning.com/), but on the other hand, the systematization and clarity are inspiring, and the speed of information is picking up.

I remember my first impressions from the Justice course at Harvard. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL30C13C91CFFEFEA6

Back then, I thought, “Wow! If philosophy were taught like THIS at my university, I would probably be a different person.” It’s still my favorite course (I’ve watched it twice already).
