🏪 Anthropic launches Claude Marketplace - a marketplace for purchasing AI software built on Claude.
The idea is simple: companies that already have a contract with Anthropic can use their budget not only on Claude but also on third-party tools from the marketplace. There's no need to go through separate procurement procedures for each vendor - everything is managed through a single account.
The model is inspired by Amazon Marketplace. However, Anthropic does not take a commission on sales. Among the first partners are Snowflake, Harvey (AI for lawyers), Replit. Integration partners include Thomson Reuters, NYSE, Epic, Salesforce, DocuSign.
Essentially, Anthropic is building an ecosystem around Claude, similar to Apple's App Store, but for enterprise. With revenue around $19B ARR and 80% of income from corporate clients, the move is logical - the more tools tied to Claude, the harder it is for clients to switch to OpenAI or Google.
