rvachev.org is the personal website of Nikita Rvachev. This page explains what the site and its emails collect and why. Questions or deletion requests: nikita@rvachev.org or the contact form.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to see which pages people read. It sets cookies and records pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. You can block these cookies in your browser; the site works the same without them.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address, preferred language and how you signed up are stored in a self-hosted mailing-list system (listmonk). Newsletters are sent through Amazon SES. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all mail to you.
Contact form
Messages you send through the contact form (name, email, message) are stored in the site's database and forwarded to me by email (Resend) and Telegram, so I can reply.
Emails with vote buttons
Some emails from rvachev.org addresses include 👍/👎 buttons. A tap records only that vote, for that story, on rvachev.org's own server, to choose what future emails include. Votes are not shared with anyone.
Who else handles data
The services above process data on the site's behalf: Vercel (hosting, which keeps standard server logs such as IP addresses), Google (analytics), Amazon Web Services (email delivery and storage), Resend (email) and Telegram (notifications). Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
