⚡️ Apple Unveils 'Vision Pro' Headset and visionOS
Finally! Apple today introduced the "Vision Pro" headset - its first augmented reality device, along with the operating system visionOS.
📱 Vision Pro Headset
Vision Pro is Apple’s first device for augmented reality. The device features a completely new operating system with a three-dimensional interface. In Vision Pro, users are not limited by the confines of a display; they can create applications of any scale and place them anywhere. The environment extends beyond physical space, and you can control your immersion. Apple says this is the beginning of "spatial computing."
The "Home view" floats before you, making you feel "fully present" in your room. Users utilize a combination of eyes, hands, and voice to control the device. Eye tracking and tapping and swiping with fingers are used for scrolling or selection.
The headset displays video in a wearer’s eye view in a feature Apple calls "EyeSight," allowing those around to see what you see inside the headset. It uses lens-like OLED displays to show the correct perspective to anyone looking at the wearer.
Vision Pro also allows users to connect to their Mac and extend its screen into virtual space, including apps running on the Vision Pro headset itself.
FaceTime on Vision Pro can display people at life-size during video calls. There’s optimized viewing for photos and videos. Vision Pro is also Apple’s "first 3D camera," showing depth in video with spatial audio.

P.S. It seems people will be even more distanced from each other than they are now, glued to their phones.
