I love watching the arms race in technology. People are seriously trying to build “AI plagiarism detectors.”

One approach is to search for features in AI output https://www.entrepreneur.com/business-news/student-builds-chatgpt-detection-app-to-fight-ai-plagiarism

The other is “encoding” the result in a certain way (intentionally inserting according to a specific logic leaves traces that are not noticeable to the average user). By the way, this is how Elon Musk found out who was leaking confidential information to the public. They simply sent slightly different emails to all employees, identical in essence but with a different number of spaces between sentences. You can read more about it here https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1579101966453858305

So, it’s amusing to watch the attempts to limit GPT. “Obfuscation” of already existing text is a trivial task.

Technology will win 🙂
