🎬 Google has introduced Cinematic Video Overviews in NotebookLM - fully synthetic videos from your documents.
It seems the time when everyone will watch completely generated video content is getting closer. And we won’t even notice the transition - simply because it’s convenient.
NotebookLM is a tool from Google that many use for research: you upload documents, articles, notes, and get a concise summary in a convenient format. First, there were AI podcasts (Audio Overviews), then videos with slides. Now - Cinematic Video Overviews: full-fledged animated videos where Gemini acts as the "creative director" and decides how to visualize the material.
The source can also be YouTube. Instead of listening to a two-hour podcast, you can feed it to NotebookLM and get the main points - still in video format, but in just a few minutes.
