In Claude's settings, there's a cool feature called 'Import memory'. You're given a rather long prompt, which you throw into ChatGPT or Gemini. That AI unloads all the knowledge it has saved about you—preferences, instructions, context from past conversations. You copy the result back into Claude—and he instantly 'recognizes' you.
But the most interesting part is that this same prompt can be used as a personal 'open crawl'. Just ask ChatGPT to unload everything it knows about you. No GDPR requests or forms—just a prompt in the chat. It's useful at least to see what picture the AI has built about you over the course of your interactions.
The competitive move is also beautiful—Anthropic makes the transition as simple as possible. And when a service doesn't hold you by force, trust in it only grows.
