🛠️ The /checkup command has been added to Claude Code - audit and optimize the entire setup in one go.
The command does what usually takes time: removes unused skills, MCP, and plugins, eliminates duplicates between local and committed CLAUDE.md, splits an inflated root CLAUDE.md into nested files and skills, disables slow hooks, updates Claude Code, enables auto mode, and pre-approves frequently rejected read-only commands.
All with confirmation before each step. Configuration debt in Claude Code accumulates quickly - especially if you actively experiment with plugins and MCP.
