🤖 Claude in Chrome

Anthropic has released the Claude in Chrome extension. Now Claude can navigate pages, click buttons, and fill out forms directly in the browser. This is not a chat overlay on tabs, but an agent that actually acts within the browser.

The key idea is to use the browser as a universal API.

Importantly, this works in both Claude Code and Claude Desktop. You can build background tasks and scheduled workflows where the AI not only advises but also checks, tests, and iterates. The user remains in control - all actions require confirmation.

P.S. I predict 2026 will be the year of Browser Use and Computer Use agents.
