Figma launches Figma Sites - a website builder, a competitor to Framer and Webflow. Expectedly.
My observations are that website/software builders develop in waves: first, they can only be made by professionals, then various builders appear that allow anyone to create something, people play with it, quickly hit limits, and go to professionals who have the skills, and the cycle repeats. It’s interesting to consider whether we will reach a state where designers/developers/programmers are no longer needed or if this spiral is endless?
