How AI Learns to Play Football on Its Own

AI learns to play football, initially on its own, and then realizes the importance of teamwork.

Real magic happens when AI learns a skill without human training, solely based on an end goal.

One of the latest examples is how AI learns in a football emulator, first getting up (using muscles), then running, managing the ball, and finally performing cool tricks.

But the final point is the graph around 7:52, where it shows that initially, AI tries to learn to play on its own (and the "team play" graph drops), but then it realizes that playing together is more effective, and the quality of the team's game starts to improve.
