🤖 How to Use AI If You're Not a Techie?
Many people don’t realize how amazing the Hugging Face platform is for those even slightly interested in artificial intelligence (AI). It hosts over 430,000 AI models, including demo models from OpenAI, Google, and others. Here’s a quick guide:
1. Start with hf.co/tasks - here you’ll find an overview of all the applications of AI models, from text generation to creating videos based on text. The number of available models for each task is also indicated.
2. By going to any “Task,” you’ll land on a page with a demo of a popular AI model. For example, if you want to generate images from text, you have access to over 13,000 models. But by selecting a task, you’ll see a demo with the Stability Diffusion model.
3. In the Spaces section (hf.co/spaces), you can view demos of various AI models. Almost all leading companies in the AI field (Facebook, Google, OpenAI, Stability AI) have posted demos of their models here.
4. LLM Rankings: Interested in the best chatbot model? Visit the Chatbot Arena (https://huggingface.co/spaces/lmsys/chatbot-arena-leaderboard), where chatbots are rated using the ELO system (the rating system used in chess) and other metrics. There’s also a ranking of open models on the Open Source LLM leaderboard (https://huggingface.co/spaces/HuggingFaceH4/open_llm_leaderboard).
