4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ Let's Get Acquainted!
Actually, I've wanted to write this post for a long time (it seems the first time was around 2500 subscribers, then 3500, and now 4000 – the time has come).
I am Nikita Rvachev, known online as rvnikita. I was born in Russia and graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University with a technical degree. I've been interested in technology since the time when computers connected to TVs. I remember being amazed that every key pressed on the keyboard appeared on the TV screen. It felt magical. I only experienced a similar feeling twice in my life – when I first got online and when I first interacted with ChatGPT. I lived in Manchester (England) for a while while studying at Hyper Island – it was an incredibly cool experience that allowed me to see how everything works outside of Russia and I think brought me a step closer to moving to the USA.
For the last 6 years, I have been living in New York City, USA. Before that, I lived in Moscow and worked on projects at the intersection of technology and marketing. I am a co-founder of the tech agency Aitarget.
Recently, like many, I've focused on AI, particularly on ML and LLM. I work in a lab at a Fortune 100 corporation where we explore the development of various technologies (I mainly deal with AI) and analyze how they will change business and life in general.
Additionally, since my first days in New York, I have been building a Russian-speaking community for talented young entrepreneurs and specialists. Currently, we are the largest in some areas, such as migration through the talent visa to the USA (@o1eb1eb2) and events dedicated to culture (@culture_nyc).
And of course, I continue to create small AI pet projects, dive into the topic, and share interesting findings in this blog.
