Meta is likely to unveil smart glasses in partnership with Oakley on June 20. This is indicated by a teaser posted by Mark Zuckerberg on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/stories/zuck/

Like the current Ray-Ban Meta, the new glasses will utilize AI features, a camera, and a voice assistant. However, unlike Ray-Ban, they are aimed at athletes: the camera is centered, and the design is inspired by the Oakley Sphaera line. Bloomberg reported that Meta also plans a model with a display for notifications and apps.

Oakley and Ray-Ban are part of EssilorLuxottica, so the expansion of the lineup seems logical. Ray-Ban Meta has already sold 2 million units, and production is expected to increase to 10 million per year by 2026.

P.S. I have at least a couple of friends who actively use Ray-Ban glasses, post stories from them, and are generally satisfied. Why the survey 👇
