🤖 NVIDIA just unveiled Isaac GR00T N1 — the world's first open foundation model for controlling humanoid robots.
GR00T N1 is like ChatGPT, but for robots. It can not only perform individual movements but also "think" in a full-fledged way, understand context, and adapt to various tasks. NVIDIA even built in two "thinking modes": fast and intuitive, and slower, analytical — literally like a human.
What does this mean in practice? For example, robots can now easily master tasks that previously required hiring people: carefully moving items from one place to another, sorting goods, or even cleaning a room after "watching" a video instruction.
Considering that today you can assemble a real robot for just $250, we are in for a very interesting future.
