The start is today at 3:00 PM ET. Leaks suggest GPT-Image-2 - a new image generation model. Previously, three anonymous models (maskingtape-alpha, gaffertape-alpha, packingtape-alpha) appeared on LM Arena and disappeared within a few hours - the community quickly figured out it was OpenAI.
Notable features: nearly perfect text rendering in images, resolution of 4096x4096, generation speed twice as fast as the previous model, and the yellowish tint of past versions is gone.
