<p>It’s worth noting that, in my opinion, HeyGen's virtual avatars currently lead in quality. In experiments where we showed a familiar avatar to a person, many needed a considerable amount of time to realize that it wasn’t a live person. The avatar usually gives itself away either by a delay in response (due to LLM) or strange behavior during silence (still unclear why).</p>
<p>And it’s also important to mention that the idea of “calling” to confirm that it’s really your friend asking you for 5000 rubles is dead. Come up with secure code phrases for verification.</p>
