Overall, OpenAI DevDay was awesome, a long-forgotten feeling:
- How far are we from the situation where the profession of a developer will die? When anyone can ask some Codex to program everything they need. How will this affect the world? Will we find ourselves in a situation where a person doesn't understand how most of what they created works and how critical that is (after all, 99.999% of people don't understand assembly and machine code on which everything ultimately runs and somehow we live :))
- I watched Sam Altman, John Ive, and Greg Brockman from a distance of 10-20 meters and thought, do they really exist, or what if they are all simulations or robots? By the way, do you ever think that 99.999% of people in this world exist for you only in the virtual world, or maybe they don’t exist at all?
- Enough suffering from nonsense, it's time to use new technologies and launch product prototypes (the backlog of ideas has been overflowing for a long time).
