<p>I've always been scared by stories of scammers somehow taking out loans without permission. Especially considering that I live outside of Russia and don't really keep track of what's happening inside.</p>
<p>Apparently, starting from March 1, they came up with a cool feature that can be enabled through State Services called “self-ban on credit.” You can also turn it off later if needed.</p>
