🤖 Telegram now allows you to connect a bot to your account so it can respond for you in private chats.
The bot's logic needs to be programmed by yourself; Telegram provides the transport layer - the bot responds on your behalf in your private chats, with a note that it is a bot. The interlocutor immediately sees that it is not you responding, and at any moment you can take the conversation back.
Another step towards the automation of AI assistants. Interestingly, Telegram previously fought against such functionality, fearing spam and abuse, but it seems they have found a format where it works well - a clear label.
