🎙 Voice input has appeared in Claude Code right in the prompt field.
You hold down the spacebar, speak, and release. Push-to-talk, like on a walkie-talkie. The text appears right where the cursor is. You can start the prompt with text, dictate the middle part, and then continue typing. Nothing gets erased - the voice just inserts itself in the right place.
Voice input is free and does not consume token limits. Available on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise.
This is not "talk to AI on the phone". This is dictation built into the text interface. Perfect for long prompts - if you're tired of typing, just dictate a piece and keep going.
