A week ago, we took a break — and now we're gathering again. Stanford has finally released a new lecture, so this Monday we continue.

Class #8: Applications, Coding AI and the future of software
Guest speaker: Guillermo Rauch (Vercel).

It promises to be one of the most lively lectures of the course. The guest is the founder of Vercel, creator of Next.js and v0, a person who is currently making AI coding mainstream. We are rising to the top of the stack — into applications: how AI is changing the very creation of software, what it now means to "write an application," and where money is made at this layer. The topic is close to almost all of us — it will be both substantive and fun.
