🤖 Anthropic released Claude Duet - an agent that works in the background while you sleep.
Duet is a separate cloud agent, not a chatbot in the usual sense: it monitors connected services, decides what to do on its own - schedule a meeting, prepare an invoice, compile a morning briefing from important emails - and continues to work even when your devices are turned off.
Under the hood is Opus 5.5. It connects to 6000+ services: Gmail, Slack, Stripe, QuickBooks, Gusto, Shopify, DocuSign. Before sending a message, making a payment, or signing a document, it asks for confirmation. It blocks securities trading and transfers between accounts without exceptions.
Currently, it's a research preview available via a waitlist, only for Pro and Max subscribers in the US - mobile apps and claude.ai.
