As promised - here it is. Opus 5.5 is almost 40% cheaper than Opus 5 with comparable, and in some areas even higher quality, and its specifications are already approaching Fable 5.1 - the most powerful model in the lineup.
Numbers: input $4 per MTok, output $20 - 20% cheaper than the previous price, cache reading has dropped by 60% to $0.20 per MTok. The context remains 1M tokens, with a maximum output of 128K.
According to benchmarks, the model outperforms competitors: 66.4% on Terminal-Bench 4.0 compared to 57.9% for GPT-6 Astra, and Opus 5.5 operates at about 40% of its price. 54.4% on FrontierCode v1.1 - the best result among all models. 81.8% on OSWorld 2.0 (computer management) - also the industry maximum.
Already available in API, on AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure under id claude-opus-5-5.
