🧠 Google has introduced 'Personal Intelligence' - Gemini now knows everything about you
Google has announced a new feature called Personal Intelligence for Gemini. Now the AI assistant can, with your permission, connect to Gmail, Google Photos, search history, and YouTube to provide personalized responses.
The key difference from previous integrations is that Gemini can now 'reason' across all your data at once and proactively offer insights, rather than just searching based on a query.
The feature is currently in beta and available to AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in the US. It is turned off by default - Google emphasizes that the user decides when to enable it.
This is exactly what gives Google an advantage over OpenAI and Anthropic - an ecosystem of applications used by billions of people every day.
