Interesting facts about space flights:
- Waste from the toilet is thrown overboard. They say it's a beautiful sight.
- Discharges overboard create a jet force, thus changing the trajectory. At such distances, this may require course correction.
- Moving people inside the capsule does not change the trajectory but changes the position - micro-turns.
- The Earth rotates around its axis not in 24 hours, but in 23 hours and 56 minutes; it takes another 4 minutes to 'catch up' with the sun, which has 'moved' due to the Earth's movement around the sun.
- The Earth's rotation is slowing down, thus the days are getting longer and longer.
