I've started reading a new book from Kinfolk - Journey. By the way, if you're not familiar with Kinfolk magazine, I highly recommend it. It has everything I have a weakness for - beautiful language, a promotion of slow living, an unusual perspective on ordinary things, and aesthetics. They started as a magazine but now sometimes publish books on specific themes. So, in this new book, the authors reflect on unusual journeys, specifically the part of actual movement - buses, trains, planes, etc. On one hand, you can cross this part out of your life by burying yourself in email analysis, or you can enjoy the moment. It seems that enjoying the moment is both an incredibly difficult and incredibly powerful skill.

The first story is about how the author decided to explore New Zealand by hopping into a postal car. In one day, he managed to drive for 5 hours, cover 120 km, and 'visit' 140 houses in a new place. It's incredibly impressive.

Share your most inspiring and unusual journey.
