Launching Our Third Course in the Educational Club

Tomorrow we are launching our third course in the educational club. Join us, it's free!

Guys, tomorrow we are launching our third course in our educational club.

A bit about our club and its history. At one point, while taking Robert Sapolsky's Introduction to Human Behavioral Biology course, I realized that I wouldn't be able to tackle 25 lectures of 1.5 hours each on my own—there would definitely be reasons to postpone, watch later, etc. So, I conducted an experiment—I suggested to my friends that we go through it together.

The result was really cool, namely:

Motivation—we watched it all the way to the end

I gained a huge amount of different perspectives on the same information—this actually surprised me the most; it seemed we were watching the same lectures, but we perceive them so differently

Great networking and new acquaintances.

Format:

Everyone watches the lecture independently

Once a week, we call for exactly one hour and discuss key ideas, what struck us, our thoughts

At the end of the hour, we choose a leader for the next week, who reminds everyone about the lecture, organizes the call, and moderates it.

In this format, we have already completed 2 courses (Sapolsky from Stanford and The Science of Well-Being from Yale) and now we are starting the third course Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects (it has a rating of 4.8 and 85,500 views on Coursera).

If you're interested—join us, it's completely free. The first call is tomorrow (yes, you'll need to check out the first lecture).
