<p>Tesla has launched Robotaxi in Austin. While there is an operator sitting in the passenger seat watching around, this is surely a regulatory requirement (just like with Waymo) and they will be removed soon.</p>
<p>Waymo now has real competition, and that's a good thing.</p>
<p>On the bright side, the cost of the ride is fixed at $4.20 (as usual, Elon Musk can't resist some name trolling).</p>
