🔴 The t.me domain is stuck in serverHold - Telegram's short links worldwide have stopped opening in browsers.
This is not a block at the provider level or in a specific country. .me is the national domain zone of Montenegro, technically administered by the registry Identity Digital. It is at the registry level that t.me received the serverHold status - the domain completely disappears from DNS, and the browser physically cannot link the address to the server, regardless of how correctly the infrastructure of Telegram itself is configured.
The app - both mobile and desktop - continues to work as usual, as it does not depend on the resolution of t.me. However, links to channels, usernames, and posts shared in the browser (t.me/username, t.me/channelname) currently lead nowhere.
Neither Telegram, Identity Digital, nor the authorities of Montenegro have yet provided official comments on the reason.
