<p>Now, onto the news - of course, the main news of the past few days has been the launch of the rocket to the Moon. There are debates about how much all this costs and whether it would be better to spend that money on housing and food for the homeless, but my answer is simple: the pursuit of scientific and technological advancement enriches everyone at a much faster rate than direct support.</p>
<p>By the way, this flight sets a record for the farthest point from Earth that a human has ever been.</p>
