Cloudflare has launched AI Labyrinth — a tool that "tricks" bots scanning sites for AI training without permission.
Instead of simply blocking, these bots now enter a specially created "labyrinth" of useless, AI-generated pages. Why is this necessary? To significantly slow down their operations and increase the costs for companies training their models on unauthorized content.
Cloudflare claims that their network faces over 50 billion requests daily from such AI bots — about 1% of all global traffic.
The tool is available for free to all Cloudflare users and can be activated directly in the user dashboard.
