Technological revolutions always challenge social norms, as was the case with the telephone.

<p>Interestingly, technological revolutions always challenge social norms. One example is when the telephone appeared; it was considered improper to greet someone you hadn’t been introduced to. Because of this, in many languages, greetings split into two words. For instance, in French, there’s <strong>allo</strong> (for the phone) and <strong>bonjour</strong> (for in-person meetings).</p>

<p>I think new technologies will challenge even more.</p>
